Sheila Patrick

Using traditional basket-making techniques I create functional baskets and decorative items using mainly unstripped willow rods.  Different willow varieties have ther own bark colour, often browns and greens, with some orange, red or black.  Combining these colours with the textures created by different weaves gives each piece its individual character.

I am based near Kelso in the Scottish Borders and welcome opportunites to sell my work at craft fairs and other local events and also in taking commissions.
