World Curlew Day 2025 - April 21st
World Curlew Day is a global awareness day celebrating the curlew, a much-loved large wading bird found along the coasts and nesting on the moors of Northumberland. The day is held on April 21st, the feast day of Saint Beuno, the patron saint of curlews.
Justine Holdsworth is tutoring two workshops on sculpting willow curlews at The Workshop Whitley Bay in early May to celebrate the day. For further information, contact Justine at justineholdsworth@me.com
