Finding Fibres 2024
Anna Corbett is running three short workshops exploring fibre plants for basketry in July, August, and September.
Each workshop will focus on plants growing in wild and cultivated habitats, such as meadows, ponds, marshes, woodland, hedgerows, gardens, and wastelands.
Depending on the season and availability, plants could include brambles, nettles, burdock, evening primrose, butterbur, rosebay willowherb, rush, bindweed, iris, crocosmia, dandelion, plantain, and others.
