Coppicing Biomass at Whitley Chapel

Whitley Chapel group have invited the Association of Pole Lathe Turners and Green Woodworkers to help with coppicing the biomass at Whitley Chapel next Sunday the second of February.

If you would like to join in the activity, you will be most welcome.

We will be cutting one, and two-year-old rods and they will be available for collection from the plot; we will ask for a small donation with any monies received going to NBG funds.

We do plan to leave a block of one-year-old rods to grow on to two years for bark stripping later in the season too.
