Christmas Event at Enigma Interactive
For several years, Graham Barke, from Enigma Interactive in Newcastle, has bought 250 six-foot Bleu Bleu rods from Chester Hope in late November. This year, Graham has shared some images of the business's annual Christmas event, which involves a staff gathering to make wreaths.
With mulled wines and mince pies, the staff spend the first half of the evening learning to work with the willow and make hoops. The second part of the evening is spent making the evergreen sprays to attach to the willow hoops and complete the wreaths. Graham has kindly sent images of the process.
What an innovative way to start Christmas activities with colleagues!
NB We have recently planted another 345 Bleu Bleu cuttings at Chester Hope.
