Bark at Lucker

Maggie Smith, the artist who works in bark , is returning to Northumberland this Summer. She has kindly offered us a two day advanced workshop this time which will give us more time to develop our work and also learn to prepare the bark ourselves. Some of the willow will be preprepared including willow bark which Jackie and Jean are having felled at Whitley Chapel for us. If there are enough of us I think we can run the workshop at £110 for two days. The dates are Saturday and Sunday 17/18 August. This course would be suitable for any other interested friends who may not have tried basket making. Last time, we used willow to knit and crochet too!
