Description
Local basketmaker Karla Pearce will tutor this basic skills round basket workshop at Bowden Village Hall in Bowden near Melrose. Participants can choose between a fruit basket or a small shopping basket with a handle. This course is suitable for those without previous basketmaking experience and those who want to revise their basic skills.
The cost is £90, including materials and a copy of Jonathan Ridgeon's book Willow Basketry: A How-To Guide, tea/coffee, and biscuits. Please bring your lunch.
