Broadrake
Welcome to the Broadrake self-help group page.
Meetings are normally on the 2nd Wednesday from September to June, with a summer break. Please note that the meeting dates may change due to workshops or overnight bunkbarn bookings, and we will amend them if necessary.
The venue is Broadrake, Chapel-le-Dale, Ingleton, N.Yorks, LA6 3AX in the Yorkshire Dales. Directions on the website www.broadrake.co.uk/directions.html
The sessions will run from 9.45 am-ish to 3 pm-ish; we make a small charge (max. £5) for heating costs during winter months, and a willow charge will be worked out according to costs. Bring your own tools if you have them, although there will be spare secateurs, and I'm happy to share other tools. Tea, coffee & biscuits/home-baking provisions are available, but please bring your own lunch.
This self-help group is for those who have attended previous willow workshops at Broadrake and want to improve their skills or find new willow challenges to work through together. We will be happy to see anyone from NBG who lives in the southern parts of the North!
